Duane served in the United States Army as a Tank Crewman and S1 Pack Rat. After being Honorable Discharged, he was recalled as a Tank Commander in Desert Storm. He then became a Fire Fighter for the Rock Hill Fire Department in South Carolina. He started his property inspection career in 2002 as a scheduler and worked his way into a home inspector position. On January 1st, 2007 at the beginning of the worst real estate market in modern history, he successfully started Morrison Home Inspections. In 2017 he founded Morrison Plus Property Inspections. Now he helps new franchisees start their business and provides guidance for their business development. Duane and his wife enjoy living in Glendora, California.

Serving as the co-host of the Make It Happen Podcast alongside of his fellow co-host Duane Morrison and producer Mackenzie Hong, Chase demonstrates his passion for marketing while discussing everything from business mindset, home inspections, and of course franchising! While he is away from the podcast studio, he serves as Marketing Executive for Morrison Plus Property Inspections. While serving in this role, Chase works closely with every franchise location of the Morrison Plus Property Inspections brand. Offering in-territory support and helping them implement key strategies for success. As an affiliate and committee member to 4 different real estate organizations, as well as sitting on the board of directors for another, Chase brings his experience to the field and classroom while training franchise owners how to build market share in their territory through strategic marketing efforts.
In his free time, Chase has a passion for the outdoors and an sporting activities. As an outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and almost anything out under the sun! You can also find him golfing during the summer or enjoying the slopes on his snowboard during the winter.
Mackenzie Hong

Mackenzie is a former inspector, now specializing in digital design and marketing. His field experience helps franchise owners understand the importance of digital content, ensuring they have the training and support to reach their target audience. He plays a key role in content creation for the brand, utilizing his bachelor’s degree in digital design (arts, media, and engineering) from Arizona State University (ASU).
In his free time he enjoys all things outdoors, a combination of creativity, adventure and competition which includes photography, golfing , camping, hiking, fishing and anything you can think of that revolves the notion of being outside.
